Ergonomics

I just got an ergonomic keyboard because a tendon in my right hand was aching a little. After a few hours of use and reduced WPM rate, my whole right arm from fingers to elbow is aching very painfully. So, the ergonomic keyboard is so far making things worse.
I must be defective.
